A Resident Evil 4 fan has been working for 8 years to create an HD mode for the game, it takes a lot of determination and hard work, and as a result, the fan is now working as a game developer at Nightdive Studios. So it’s safe to say that the hard work of the fans has paid off.

Martin wrote:  “I’m really happy because I’m finally and for the first time in my life working in the videogame industry. Thank you, Joel, for having faith in me, and thank you, Stephen, for the opportunity in Nightdive Studios.”

Martin did a great job with the HD mod because Nightdive Studios, known for remastering old games and making them work on modern devices, discontinued it. It’s a huge opportunity for Martin so hopefully he can live up to  expectations.

The crazy thing is that Martin traveled to the exact locations to click the images in Spain and Wales where Capcom traveled to shoot the game. Martin wanted the assets to be high definition and as close to the original as possible.
