for a while, and if Gunn can be trusted, it’s going to be an emotional rollercoaster ride that creates a soundtrack that places even more emphasis on action and story.
Gunn was responsible for directing the previous Guardians of the Galaxy films, and each of them delivered high-quality soundtracks that matched the overall action. Now that the director is co-CEO of DC Studios, Gunn wants to rise to the top. The upcoming sequel has a soundtrack with a total of 17 tracks. Featuring songs from previous films and last year’s Guardians of the Galaxy Christmas special, it’s a charming mix of music from the 70’s, 80’s and 90’s.
