The price of the Dogecoin cryptocurrency rose about 30% on Monday after Twitter CEO Elon Musk changed the app’s logo from a blue bird to a Shiba Inu dog, a symbol often associated with space is brought. Dogecoin, founded in 2013, has grown in popularity in recent years. There was a coordinated move to take the coin down to $1, which has yet to happen. Just after 11 p.m. The coin was valued at around 1 cent on Monday. The sudden logo change is a reminder of a Twitter user who suggested Musk buy the company and change the logo.

He is currently facing a $258 billion class-action lawsuit in federal court, where he is accused of engaging in a pyramid scheme by promoting the cryptocurrency. Musk often voiced his support for the coin and was even nicknamed “The Dogefather.”
