A two-year-old Florida boy who went missing after his mother was killed at her home was found dead on Friday and his father has been charged with murder, St. Petersburg police said.
Taylen Mosley’s body was found in an alligator’s mouth and a detective shot the animal, Police Chief Anthony Holloway said.
“We didn’t want to find it that way, but at least we can close this family now,” Holloway said at a news conference. Taylen has been missing since Thursday when her mother, Pashun Jeffery, 20, was found dead at her home, police said.
